Our partners at the Media Arts Center pounded a little pavement to bring you this video from City Heights. In it Teresa Nguyen talks about why she and other leaders of the Vietnamese community in City Heights think the city should designate a six-block commercial stretch of El Cajon Boulevard as “Little Saigon.”

Nguyen is on staff at the nonprofit Little Saigon Foundation, which is leading the push for City Council approval. If it is approved, Little Saigon would be the first formally designated ethnic enclave in City Heights. I wrote about it last week.
