Supporters of a city sales tax increase on November’s ballot are using the Fire Department cuts to promote the need for new revenue. But money now exists to restore those cuts temporarily.

What’s Next

Neither Mayor Jerry Sanders, nor the City Council is expected to address the cuts before Election Day.
