The Complaint

Unlicensed street vendors selling food and clothes out of carts and front yards have been on the rise in City Heights, and some business owners have had enough.

The Demand

They want the city to step up enforcement of the vendors, who they say have unfairly competed with their businesses.

The Solution

In the face of budget cuts, the city has stopped enforcing vending violations in favor of more serious ones, but says it will do more in the months to come.
