Last week we took you inside San Diego Space 4 Art, the converted warehouse in East Village. Since then I came across this video our friends at the Media Arts Center made about the spot and how it was built:

In the video, co-founder Bob Leathers (husband to Cheryl Nickel, who guided our tour last week), talked about walking into the warehouse and seeing the original trusses and beams inside from 1910:

“Oh my god, this could be special,” Leathers says.
