San Diego is a city of micro-climates, micro-brews and micro-neighborhoods. Some people never venture out of their neighborhoods. How about a monthly or quarterly cultural plunge/exchange, where a new neighborhood is explored?

Shop in an ethnic grocery store, go to a mom and pop eatery, buy Mexican pan dulce, visit a church (beautiful churches in mostly every area), walk around the neighborhood school and walk through the green space.

There could be a meet-up at a set destination, preferably get people to use public transportation if accessible. I do this a lot on my own. It can be exciting, enriching and eye-opening!
