Mr. García Fons was a member of the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (1999-2010), President of the Tijuana Delegation (2004-2005), President of the Consultative Committee 2008-2010 and National Commissioner of the ICIC 2009-2010. Counselor of the Tijuana Economic Development Council from 2006 to 2017. He was a member of the Citizen Forum of the Mexican Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission in Tijuana, from August 2014 to 2018.
