Michael David Rudd, Ph.D., ABPP is Distinguished University Professor of Psychology, Director, Rudd Institute for Veteran and Military Suicide Prevention, and Former President, University of Memphis. Dr Rudd is a veteran and life member of the American Legion, having served during the Gulf War as an Army psychologist. The focus of his research over the past three decades has been the assessment and treatment of suicide risk in active-duty servicemembers and Veterans.
