Brews and News Live Podcast Giveaway

1. Giveaway Award: The Giveaway Award is as follows: Two (2) tickets to a Padres game, valued at $250.00 ($125.00 each). 

The Brews and News Live Podcast Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) being conducted by Voice of San Diego beginning on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 8 a.m. PT and ending on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. PT (Giveaway Period). No purchase or payment is necessary to enter. A ticket purchase or donation will not increase chances of winning. All applicable federal, state, local and municipal laws, rules, and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. 

2. Entry: Entry in the Giveaway, the entrant (“Entrant” or “Participant”) agrees to be bound by these Official Rules (“Official Rules”). The Sponsor’s interpretation and application of the Official Rules shall be final. There are two (2) ways to enter the Giveaway. 

1. Event Registration Entry: To be automatically entered, register for Brews and News Live Podcast June 11, 2026 at Brews and News Live Podcast of Voice of San Diego. Event registration at the door will also be automatically entered. 

2. Mail In Entry: Mail a postcard with your first and last name, complete address, city, state, ZIP Code, telephone number, date of birth, and valid email address Attn: Voice of San Diego 401 B St., Suite 302, San Diego CA 92101. You must include on the postcard that you would like to participate in the Brews and News Live Podcast Giveaway. Postcards must be received by Voice of San Diego before Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 5 p.m. PT. 

Only one entry per person is allowed through event registration or postcard entry. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Any violation of the Official Rules or attempt to obtain more than one entry by using fictitious or non-functioning email addresses, identities, registrations, and logins, or any other methods, will void that entrant’s entries, and that entrant may be disqualified. 

Two (2) winners will be selected and announced during Brews and News Live Podcast on Thursday, June 11, 2026, by random drawing of all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. Each winner will be eligible to win one (1) of the awards. Winners will also be contacted by email if not present at the event. The random drawing will be conducted by Voice of San Diego staff. The odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received for the drawing during the Giveaway Period. Winners will have two (2) business days from being contacted to respond and agree to accept their prize. Responses must be received by Voice of San Diego by 8 p.m. PT on Friday, June 12, 2026. Prize redemption will be coordinated between Voice of San Diego and the two (2) giveaway winners. 

3. Eligibility: The Giveaway is open to all persons who are 21 years of age or older and who live or work in San Diego County. Employees of Voice of San Diego who have had direct involvement with this Giveaway are ineligible to win. Participants are required to provide truthful information. To claim the Giveaway Award, the winners must provide, upon request by Voice of San Diego, a valid government-issued photo identification card along with their complete current mailing address, date of birth, and phone number. Voice of San Diego will disqualify any individuals who do not meet these eligibility requirements. 

4. Conditions: Decisions made by Voice of San Diego management with respect to the Giveaway are final. The prize must be claimed by Friday, June 12, at 3:00 PM PST or it will be forfeited. All unclaimed or rejected prizes will be forfeited. Failure by the winner to respond to Sponsor messages, calls, e-mails, or other notifications will lead to forfeiture of the prize. Upon forfeiture of the prize, Voice of San Diego has the right to award the prize to another winner. 

By participating in the Giveaway, the participant agrees to have their name, voice, and likeness used by Voice of San Diego in any advertising or broadcasting material including, but not limited to, social media relating to the Giveaway without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of any Giveaway Award. 

5. Sponsor: Voice of San Diego, EIN 20-1585919 (the “Sponsor”), a nonprofit organization that has applied for recognition or has been granted status as a tax-exempt nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) (or subsections under Section 501(c) that are allowed to accept contributions) of the Internal Revenue Code, is conducting a Giveaway. 

Sponsor is not responsible for technical, computer, telephone service outages, delays, equipment malfunctions, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable connections, or late, lost, failed, illegible, incomplete, garbled or deleted entries, transmissions, third-party delivery services such as U.S. Mail, or other network or technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her entry. 

Sponsor is not responsible for any weather changes or extenuating circumstances relating to the Giveaway Period. The Sponsor is not responsible for replacing or reimbursing winner with any form of compensation for events that are delayed or canceled. All delays and cancellations are deemed beyond the control of the Sponsor. This includes, but is not limited to, event cancellations, schedule changes, changes in arrangements, delays of any form and duration, game cancellations and delays, as well as all acts of nature. Sponsor will not be responsible for failure to supply the prize by reason of any force majeure events, such as acts of God, war, terrorist attacks, unusually severe weather, labor strikes, or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor. 

All results are unofficial until the winner is verified by the Sponsor. Prizes may not be exchanged, substituted, transferred, or redeemed for other prizes by the winner. Cash will not be awarded as a substitute for prize. Prizes are awarded ‘as is’ with no guarantees or warranties as to use, merchantability, or fitness for a specific purpose, and the Sponsor is not responsible for defective prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize in their sole discretion without an on-air or off-air announcement, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Other terms and conditions may apply. 

6. Further Limitation on Liability and Reservation of Rights: Sponsor disclaims all liabilities to the winner with respect to receipt and use of the prize. Winner, by acceptance of the prize, agree to release and hold Sponsor and its officers, employees, agents, and representatives harmless from any and all liability, claims, causes of actions, damages, fines, and costs of any kind whatsoever (including reasonable attorney’s fees) which may be sustained directly or indirectly to persons or property in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize, or while preparing for, participating in, or traveling to any Giveaway or prize-related activity. 

Sponsor reserves the right to make changes to these Official Rules in its sole discretion which will become effective upon announcement. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or terminate this Sweepstakes for any reason in the event that it cannot be run or administered as intended by the Sponsor. Any such changes or termination will be announced on voiceofsandiego.org.
