How to Ask Questions During Sessions (via Slido)

We’ll be using Slido for audience Q&A. It’s simple and works on any device.

  1. At the start of each session, the moderator or presenter will display a Slido event code and/or a QR code on the screen.
  2. On your phone, tablet, or laptop, go to slido.com (no app download needed) and enter the event code OR scan the QR code.
  3. Once joined, tap into the Q&A feature. You can:
    • Submit a question (either anonymously or with your name, depending on settings).
    • Upvote questions from other attendees so the most popular ones rise to the top. (The more upvotes a question has, the more likely it will be answered.)
  4. The session moderator will review incoming questions and select them for the presenter to answer.
  5. Questions will appear in the live session view so the speaker and audience can follow along.

Tips: No login or account creation is required. You can try submitting a test question early to see how it works. Some questions may appear after a brief delay if moderation is enabled.

Lunch

If you pre-ordered your lunch, you will receive a ticket at check-in. Your lunch will be available for pick-up in the front courtyard to the south of the registration tents. Just show your ticket to receive your lunch.

If you didn’t pre-order lunch, food will be available from several food trucks on-site during the lunch break, including:

  • Dirty Birds Food Truck – Famous for award-winning chicken wings and bar bites.
  • Flavors of East Africa – Serving authentic African cuisine with bold spices and flavors.
  • Coffee Truck – Freshly brewed coffee, espresso drinks, and light snacks to keep you energized throughout the day.

There’s also a campus market within a 5–10 minute walk from the Kroc School:

Tu Mercado: Located in the Student Life Pavilion on the east side of campus. Offers espresso drinks, breakfast, sandwiches, and retail items. From the Kroc School, walk east through the center of campus — the Pavilion will be on the left before the athletic field.
