About Dr. Aaron Meyer
Dr. Aaron Meyer is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego. He works with the City of San Diego as their first Behavioral Health Officer and collaborates with the Fire-Rescue Department, Homeless Strategies and Solutions Department, Police Department and Office of the City Attorney to ensure that individuals who frequently utilize emergency services receive care appropriate to their level of need. Dr Meyer has a passion for legislative advocacy and currently serves as Chair of the California State Association of Psychiatrists’ Government Affairs Committee.
