About Naomi Shim
Naomi Shim is a junior at University City High School and recently completed an internship with the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine. She now holds a research assistant position at Sanford Burnham Prebys Discovery Institute where she researches muscular dystrophies. Naomi also volunteers at Sharp Memorial, plays varsity tennis, and is an Aaron Price Fellow. She’s enrolled in Advanced Placement and college courses at UCSD and aspires for a career in neurology.
