About Sara Jacobs
Congresswoman Sara Jacobs is a third-generation San Diegan and proudly serves California’s 51st Congressional District, which includes San Diego, El Cajon, La Mesa, and Lemon Grove. Congresswoman Jacobs is a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Armed Services Committee. Before Congress, she worked at the United Nations, UNICEF, the U.S. State Department, and on Secretary Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign – and served as the Founding CEO of the international education nonprofit, Project Connect, and as Founding Chair of a non-profit coalition to end child poverty, San Diego for Every Child.
