Mayor Kevin Faulconer has pitched a center where homeless people can be connected with a wide array of services. Just five years ago, the city hailed the opening of Connections Housing, which was also envisioned as a comprehensive center to serve the homeless. What played out with Connections demonstrates that there’s no guarantee Faulconer’s vision will be achieved.
