Francine Busby just sent out a note of thanks to all of her supporters. Far from a concession memo, Busby struck an upbeat note and said she wanted to show gratitude for all of their help before election results start coming in.
Here’s what she said:
Regardless of the outcome, we have made a difference in this District. We have created and empowered a network of voters who had previously felt that their voices and their votes were marginalized.
We have run a vigorous race to challenge the gerrymandered majority in this district. I heart, (sic) passion and energy could win a race, we’d win in a heartbeat. I have no doubt that we have the very best campaign in the country!
