Can you imagine if the City Council passed a policy that bound them each individually to not publicly say anything bad about the mayor? Or perhaps the City Council of Chula Vista agreeing not to say anything bad about its city manager?
Well, that’s what the school board apparently did. I am thinking hard but I can’t imagine a stupider provision for a governing body to agree to. Perhaps you can help me come up with one.
