I make a pretty concerted effort to not run too many photos of animals as my Photo of the Day. As photographing cute animals is a time-honored, fail-safe plan for feature photography, it’s not exactly the most original idea in the world.
But when I saw these two dogs down in San Ysidro today, I couldn’t resist. These dogs had grit. And I was impressed with this dog’s ability to jump up on the fence. I rattled off a few frames and then got out of there before the dog decided to come over the fence.
