The Occupy San Diego movement that’s brought thousands of demonstrators through the Civic Center concourse in the past few days is a group of many disparate voices trying to become one.
I wanted to find out demonstrators’ personal motivations for participating.
So, yesterday, I conducted interviews and shot portraits at the Civic Center using an iPhone and the Hipstamatic app, (which applies the special filter you see) to try to convey the youth and the digital roots of the Occupy movements.
