Imagine finding out you are the majority owner of a business you know nothing about.

That’s what one South Bay woman says happened to her. Rose Jasso, a barber in National City, says she was conned into signing ownership papers for a cannabis business.

She signed paperwork believing she was opting into a giveback program for community members, but she later learned she had signed on to being the 51 percent owner of a pot shop, she said.

Our hosts tell her story and detail what happened when she turned to National City officials for help.

Also on the show, our hosts update you on the race for the vacant District 1 San Diego County Supervisor seat. Unions and other key players have picked their candidates, now it’s time to see how much money they drop on the race.
