Get ready to pay more for water.

Last week, the San Diego City Council approved a nearly 30 percent increase to water rates over the next two years — but the vote didn’t go down easily. Councilmembers “squirmed as they voted,” as our environment reporter put it.

On the latest episode of the VOSD Podcast, our hosts explain why water prices are so high. They also react to some of the comments councilmembers made on the dais.
