With the absentee ballots counted, the proposal to locate an airport at the Miramar air base appears headed for defeat, and Mayor Jerry Sanders’ proposals seem bound for victory.

Prop A (Miramar airport proposal): 38 percent yes, 62 percent no.

Prop B (Requiring a vote before increasing city pensions): 75 percent yes, 25 percent no.

Prop C (Allowing businesses to compete with city workers): 67 percent yes, 33 percent no.

We’ll update you throughout the night.
