Weigh in on important issues by submitting a commentary to VOSD.

Here are a few requirements and tips for our op-eds:

  • No longer than 800 words
  • We don’t publish ghostwritten op-eds; only the person (or people) who wrote the op-ed should appear in the byline.
  • Your piece should expand on issues we cover (education, police reform, transportation, etc.).
  • Use plain, simple language.
