Politifest is taking place at University of San Diego at the Kroc School of Peace and Justice. Enter on the west side of campus via Marian Way. The physical address is:

Livestream Session

On Saturday, five sessions will be livestreamed. To view them, you must be registered for the event. Go to the ticketing page to register if you aren’t already signed-up for the event.

You will receive an email a few days before the event with the links to the livestream.

Parking and Transportation

There is free parking throughout campus on Saturday. There is a garage in the lower level of the Kroc School and in the lower levels of Mother Rosalie Hall, which is across the way from Kroc. There is also street parking on campus.

There is a parking lot on the west side of campus, just past the guard entrance off Marian Way.

What to Wear

We recommend business casual, but wear what is most comfortable for you. The event will be primarily inside and it can get cool in the meeting rooms, so plan accordingly.

WIFI: How to Connect to USD Guest WiFi

  1. On your device, go into your Wireless settings and connect to the network called “usdguest”.
  2. Open a web browser and go to any website. This will activate the Guest WiFi login process.
  3. Read the Terms of Use agreement on the screen.
  4. If you agree, check the box that says “I accept the terms of use”.
  5. Click Log In.
  6. You will be redirected to a page that says “Authentication Successful”.
  7. You’re good to go.

How to Ask a Question During a Session

We will collect written questions from the audience during each session. There will be notecards and pens available for your use.

Lunch

If you pre-ordered your lunch, you will receive a wristband at check-in. Your lunch will be available for pick-up in the front courtyard to the south of the registration tents. Just show your wristband.

If you did not order lunch in advance, you can grab a bite from one of several food trucks that will be on location during the lunch break.

There is also a market on the east side of campus, a 5-10 minute walk from the event location:

Tu Mercado: A campus market that has retail items, espresso drinks, breakfast, and sandwiches. It is located in the Student Life Pavillion on the east side of campus. When you leave the Kroc School, walk east through the center of campus. The Pavillion will be on the left before you get to the athletic field.

Closing Reception

We hope you’ll join us for the closing reception, starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday in the garden on the west side of the Kroc School overlooking the ocean. There will be light appetizers, beer, wine, and soft drinks.

What if I Miss a Session? Can I View It Later?

Yes! All sessions will be available on the Politifest website for you to view. You will have to log into the website using your email to access the videos.
