About David Miyashiro
Dr. David Miyashiro is a forward-thinking education leader known for creating a culture of trust and innovation while revolutionizing learning approaches in Southern California. This is Dr. Miyashiro’s 13th year at the helm in Cajon Valley USD where he was recognized as Superintendent of the Year in 2016 by the Association of California School Administrators (Region 18) and earned Cajon Valley the distinction as National K-12 District of the Year in 2022 by K-12 Dive. Dr. Miyashiro has a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy from UCLA, his Master’s in Education Technology from Grand Canyon University, and Bachelor’s from Cal State Long Beach.
