About Ramsey Green

Ramsey Green has spent the last 20 years helping communities prepare, respond, and recover from disasters and the impacts of climate change. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Ramsey oversaw the rebuilding of the New Orleans school system, negotiating the largest FEMA funding settlement in history and, later, oversaw infrastructure and resilience for the City of New Orleans, helping to lead the city in its response to multiple crises. A native of San Diego, Ramsey now works internationally as a consultant, helping clients finance and build a more resilient future, and lives in New Orleans with his wife and their three children.
