In case you didn’t know, next Monday is a big day for the folks on the airport authority’s board.

The biggest of days. The day to end all days. The longest day. (Actually, that’s D-Day, and that’s Tuesday.)

The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority’s board will make its recommendation on a site to alleviate the expected capacity crunch at Lindbergh Field.

All eyes, as you know, are on Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. A key airport committee recommended the joint-use of the site last week.

The authority’s leaders have prepared a quite lengthy presentation and resolution. Bored? Check ’em out here.

It’s 45 pages detailing the last three years of meetings, discussion, briefings and just plain fun times. The authority meets Monday at 8 a.m.
