Council President Scott Peters said today that he’s left a space open on Tuesday’s docket if the consultants putting together an investigative report on City Hall are ready to present it to the City Council.
Consultants from Kroll Inc. have been working on an investigation of alleged wrongdoing at City Hall since February 2005, but the report has been repeatedly delayed by cost overruns, technical glitches and missed deadlines. The last estimated finish date was mid-June, though the consultants reportedly told the Mayor’s Office last week that it could slide another couple weeks.
A spokeswoman for Peters said their office hasn’t heard directly from Kroll if it will be ready to present the report next week.
