City Attorney Mike Aguirre is hosting a roundtable discussion Thursday evening to discuss the responsibilities of local communities in combating global warming.

The roundtable panel will consist of representatives from the San Diego Regional Energy Office and Scripps Institution of Oceanography, as well as a Superior Court judge. Aguirre will moderate the roundtable and present his take on “the City Attorney’s Office’s Role in Addressing Global Warming.”

The discussion begins at 6 p.m. and will be held on the 12th floor of the City Administration Building, located at 202 C St. downtown. The event will also air on City TV, channel 24.
