Just a few final rebuttal points on Prop 1B before I sign off for the day.
The vast majority of Prop1B funding will go to increasing capacity and improving highways and local roads. And 20 percent will go to public transportation.
Prop 1B will help to reduce gridlock by expanding capacity, widening freeways, adding new HOV lanes, and fixing the most congested onramps and off-ramps.
The measure also dedicates funding to traffic light synchronization and other technology-based improvements to enhance safety operations and the capacity of our local roads and streets.
Finally, let’s not forget the economic impact of a safe, reliable and moving transportation system.
Prop 1B deserves your support. Vote YES on 1B and 84 on November 7.
