Here’s what IT analyst Ivan Cervantes has to say about his voting experience:

I voted this morning at 8:30am in University Heights (garage at 800 Madison Ave).

They had 3 E-voting machines & 1 Manual voting station setup (in the past they would have at least 6 voting stations setup).

One of the e-voting machines was completely down, the other two were being used but everyone was told that we couldn’t use them because the Voter Access Card generator machine was down…..So we would have to use the paper ballots.

There was about 10 – 12 voters spread out in the garage and driveway filling out their paper ballots (absolutely no privacy as there was only one manual voting station setup)….I was crouching down on the floor filling out my ballot on top of a box.

We then had to place our paper ballots into a cardboard box…not a metal lock box, just a cardboard box.

There was a lot of unhappy voters.

This experience didn’t really give me the “warm fuzzies” about our election process.
