A lot of feedback today from the local political world on the column. John Kern, who was chief of staff to former Mayor Dick Murphy and who ran the campaign in favor of the airport authority’s ballot measure, had something he wanted to add about my point on money not being able to buy you election.
For those of you who didn’t read the column, I just pointed out that you can spend millions on local races but not be guaranteed to win.
Kern says it better:
