The county’s spokesman, Michael Workman, says I shouldn’t have gotten so excited about the yesterday’s Monday San Diego Tube.
He sent in this note:

Unless of course you watched the news during that tragic incident. Then you saw it on most local channels. We handed out DVDs from the EOC. Not to suggest that it is not remarkable time lapse video, just to clarify that lots of people, members of the public, have seen it before.
OK. Glad he cleared that up. I covered the fire at that time and wasn’t around the television much. I’ll remember to temper my enthusiasm and watch more TV.
