If you had your nails done at Lisa’s Nails in Chula Vista in the last five months, the county has a warning for you. A nail salon employee has been diagnosed with infectious tuberculosis.

Clients who were in the shop at 1177 Broadway St. in Chula Vista for either two-hour appointments or who spent eight hours in the shop between Aug. 1 and Jan. 26 should contact their doctor, the county said. Or they can call the county’s tuberculosis program at (619) 692-8621.

The disease, which can chronically affect the lungs, is not uncommon in San Diego, the county said in a news release. The county had 315 TB cases last year.
