Residents can attend a presentation on public safety issues Thursday evening that Council President Scott Peters and Mayor Jerry Sanders called in the wake of the recent high-profile robbery of a La Jolla businessman last week.
Lt. Brian Ahearn of the San Diego Police Department will be on-hand to discuss the robbery and offer suggestions for keeping homes protected.
The event will take place at 7 p.m. at the La Jolla Recreation Center, located at 615 Prospect St.
