City Attorney Mike Aguirre reported that Wendy Patrick Mazzarella, a deputy district attorney, gave him two tickets to Latin pop star Marc Anthony concert’s last year, a gift worth approximately $150.
Additionally, two law firms have each extended loans of between $10,000 and $100,000 each in the form of unpaid attorney fees. Aguirre also reported that he received between $1,000 and $10,000 in political donations to repay a loan he gave his city attorney campaign.
