Monday, April 9, 2007 | Re: “Peters: SEC Probe Left Councilmembers Untouched,” It should come as no surprise that the SEC has found no fault with the City Council. That’s what the taxpayers paid $90 million for, plus the individual legal fees totaling $2.3 million for all except one council member. Donna Frye is the only one who has not billed the city for any legal fees. One must assume that when she became aware of what Diann Shipione was pointing out she did not go along with the rest of the council members on subsequent votes on the issue.

One need only study what former SEC personnel do after they leave the SEC. These insiders for up to $900/hour know how to get corporate and governmental parties from going to jail all at shareholders’ or taxpayers’ expense.
