Mayor Jerry Sanders’ press tour hits on at least two stops tomorrow. The first will celebrate the more than 44,000 hours worked by volunteers for the city, at a salary savings of $10 million.
(Volunteers do such things as pick up litter on beaches, work at libraries and participate in an emergency response team.)
In the afternoon, Sanders and Supervisor Ron Roberts are slated to take early steps toward implementing an upgraded regional communications system.
