Thursday, May 24, 2007 | Why is this important news buried inside the newspaper instead of front page? Perhaps Aguirre has lost his headline status. “State high court refuses to hear pension appeal.” (The San Diego Union-Tribune, Short Takes, page B2.) It declined to review a decision by a San Diego Judge Barton that gutted Aguirre’s main challenge for rolling back pensions.

Here is further example of Aguirre wasting taxpayer funds in his compulsive-obsessive goal to strip city employees of their contractual benefits. The excessive damage he has done to employee morale is incalculable, not to belabor the millions he’s wasted tilting at windmills. His brand of jaundiced justice has shown no mercy.
