You might remember that my wife is currently on deployment with the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier. The Nimitz is experiencing some tough weather these days (Is there any word scarier than “typhoon?”). I’m not supposed to speculate about where in the world she is.
Anyway, she sent along this photo.
I’m no experienced sailor — I’m not even an inexperienced sailor — but it must be some pretty rough seas if waves are spraying over the deck of an aircraft carrier like that.
She said sailors with years and years of experience out there are getting seasick.
