I didn’t get to go to court last week to watch the unfolding trial of Rod Coronado, the environmental activist I wrote about earlier this month.

Instead, I’ve been reading the excellent coverage of the trial on the City Beat blog.

I do, however, intend to be at the closing arguments of the case this morning. The “legendary” Tony Serra (I use that superlative because that’s the one always used in Coronado’s press releases), a trial lawyer from San Francisco, will be making the closing arguments for the defense. That should be worth seeing in itself.

Seriously though, the case is a big one, and the repercussions arising from it could be far-reaching.

Check back this afternoon and I’ll report what happens.
