With candidates for the San Diego Unified school board already emerging, trustee Luis Acle said it’s too early to say whether he will run to retain his seat. The primary occurs in June.
Acle already has an opponent, labor organizer Richard Barrera, who confirmed his candidacy in October.
Meanwhile, trustee Mitz Lee is being challenged by John Lee Evans; political consultant Scott Barnett dropped out of that race in December.
