Journalism and social justice teacher Christopher Greenslate shared this nifty project with me. Teens at La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad are competing to win a prize worth $50,000 from Quantum Shift TV for an environmental project that urges students to reduce their consumption of bottled water. The high schoolers documented their experience in this video. One factor that could help them win the competition: Getting more online votes from websurfers than the two other contest finalists. The deadline to vote is Friday night.
