San Diego-based Copley News Service, Inc., a newspaper syndicate that distributes editorial content including popular cartoons and opinion columns, has been sold to Creators Syndicate, a major newspaper syndicate based in Los Angeles.
According to a press release from Creators Syndicate, Copley News Service, which was founded in 1955, is one of the largest newspaper syndicates in the world. It distributes cartoons from Michael Ramirez, Steve Breen and Scott Stantis and columns from Phyllis Schlafly and Jack Kemp, among others.
