Friday, May 30, 2008 | I was very disappointed in Andrew Donohue‘s lead story in the Voice of San Diego this morning. The sensational headline may be a marketing gimmick but it is not reflective of what actually happened and Andrew’s words. Andrew points out in his article—if anyone reads down far enough—that others such as the council and our city attorney have prevented the mayor from accomplishing some of his goals. So why attack the mayor with a headline like this? It is sad that the Voice is compromising its normally fair and objective reporting with a misleading headline such as this one. This type of sensationalism will turn me away from the Voice.
