Absentee voters heavily favored the two incumbents running for San Diego Unified school board: Mitz Lee walloped challenger John Lee Evans among such voters, with roughly 61 percent of the vote to Evans’ 39 percent. Shelia Jackson outstripped her two competitors twice over, gaining 54 percent of the absentee vote compared to 24 percent for Xeng Yang and 22 percent for Marjorie Thomas.
