If one is going to engage in self-dealing, it appears that having an appointee’s position in the City of San Diego is equivalent to striking the mother lode. Is there no one down on C Street with enough interest in their job to guard against such violations of the public trust? CCDC, SEDC, how many more alphabetical agencies are there and what’s going on therein?
