The latest community input meeting on San Diego’s budget is scheduled for tonight from 6-8 p.m. at Lewis Middle School, 5170 Greenbrier Ave. in District 7.

The City Council’s Budget and Finance Committee, chaired by Councilman Tony Young, has held four meetings to solicit public input on how to bridge the city’s budget shortfall. There’s also a survey available on the committee’s website.

The Mayor’s Office has posted some of the public’s budget suggestions submitted through its website.
