A head’s up: We were wrong.

The original version of this post on Friday included results from an Education Trust West audit being presented to the school board Feb. 9. We said the results were from San Diego Unified. They weren’t. They were from another California school district and were included with some data about San Diego Unified to show the school board what an audit would look like. The group hasn’t yet audited San Diego Unified.

The school board approved the audit last fall on a $300,000 contract. The work is expected to be finished by June. The school board was briefed on how the audit would be conducted in a workshop Tuesday.

We apologize for the mistake.
