Whew.

I picked an interesting two weeks to go on vacation. While I get caught up on 30,000 duplicate signatures, new sales taxes and smaller City Halls, I’m also in charge of this week’s Q&A.

I confirmed this morning I will be chatting with Charles Black, a lawyer, developer and city negotiator for two of San Diego’s major projects: the $294 million new City Hall building and $753 million expansion of the city’s Convention Center.

Black has experience pushing an expensive and complicated proposal through the city and its voters. He was an important figure behind the development of Petco Park, the San Diego Padres baseball stadium that opened in 2004.

Please e-mail or tweet your questions for Black to me by the end of the day tomorrow.
