Submit your own letter to the editor.
We welcome your letters about issues important to San Diego and the surrounding region. We only currently accept commentaries that have not been published elsewhere. Please include your real name and your real phone number so that we can contact you to verify your submission. Anonymous letters will be read by our staff but they will not be published.
When we have spoken with you, your letter will be published with your name.
In your letter, be clear, concise, and informative. Letters may be edited for length — we prefer they not be longer than 1000 words. They may be edited for style and libelous content.
Make sure to include links to anything you are responding to, whether it be an article or another letter. If you cite any numbers, news articles, reports or studies, please include links or documents when you submit or by email so we can include them in the commentary.
