On Wednesday I’ll be interviewing a local community advocate, Jerry Guzman-Vergara, for our weekly Q&A.
Guzman-Vergara is a lifelong resident of the Greater Logan Heights area east of downtown and assistant director of the Sherman Heights Community Center. He’s leading an effort to rebrand the largely low-income, Latino community and foster a sense of belonging among residents, something he and other advocates think is increasingly important as downtown development spreads east in their direction.
Have questions you’d like me to ask him as he takes me on a walking tour of his community? Shoot me an e-mail, leave a comment, or send me a tweet.
